Mapping the Prior Week High on a Daily Print
Weekly highs and lows belong on the daily chart, but only when they align with at least one other reference: a prior month close, a round number, or a volume shelf you can see on the printout.
Start by folding the weekly chart along the prior Friday close. Mark the high with a light pencil line—never ink until the daily chart confirms overlap with another reference.
When two references stack within a narrow band, draw a single zone rather than parallel lines. Our workbook uses a hatched rectangle for these confluence bands so they read clearly under daylight at the desk.
Students often over-mark: five lines where one zone suffices. The discipline is to erase anything that does not change your decision for the next session.
